Rest & Relaxation

It was one fine week during holy week, I got to spend some time with my family and bond with them, it surely made the whole trip more fun and interesting because to be honest in manila we just goto our normal lives and do our own stuff like go to school,go to work and then rest at night that’s why I’m so thankful that I had this time to be with my family even just for a week(which I wish it was extended). I got to know more on what’s happening with our own lives, the family business, the good ones and the bad ones and the interests of each one of us, It definitely made our family stronger and bonded. Anyway, it’s a snap back to reality time for me, I’m back to my normal programing of training for our upcoming competition and work but I’m not complaining because these are blessings, and why would I push away something good that was given to me right? though i’m kinda jealous for all the people going to Boracay this coming laboracay because i’ll be missing out and it sucks because all of my friends are coming and I already booked a ticket and now i’m selling it (still selling lol). So to make it up i’ll just post something that can maybe help you think of what to wear to laboracay. Enjoy! oh and Bali  Indonesia photo diary will be up soon!

Aviators(Ray-Ban), button-down(The Ilustrados) , Tailored shorts(Outbreak boulevard), flipflops and tote bag (Banana Peel), watch (G-Shock),bracelets ( Shoes strings attached)

Another series of my “filipino-inspired” button down from the Ilustrtados. When you go to the beach and you want to party it’s as essential for me to bring a button-down if I don’t have a tank top because it can be used as a cover up if you’re conservative…like me…haha! and you can style it in any way by showing off some skin or just wearing it in a preppy way. It’s up to you and your personality on how you wear your button-down in the beach. Show some spunk and make it more of yourself.

Tote bag from banana peel, It also helps if you bring a tote bag because I’m sure with all the phone accessories nowadays I know that you’ll be bringing each one of those like the monopod/selfiepod,fish eye lens, power bank and many more so my tip is you bring a secured tote bag and just put everything in it so you won’t lose any of those precious things!

Something Wrong that is right.

Despite of everyone eating clean and getting their beach body ready here I am blogging some good food that will make you salivate! hahaha! So, few weeks ago me and my friends suddenly craved for some ramen and I’ve been into the state of looking for the best ramen the metro. I’ve been seeing so much instagram/facebook and twitter posts about this Ramen place located in Burgos circle called Wrong ramen, of course at first I really don’t get why it is called that way and it made me curious that it made me want to try it out so me and my friends went to wrong ramen few weeks ago to satisfy our ramen cravings. I enjoyed my stay there because not only the food’s good but I was with my closest blogger friends that night! a night full of laughter and catching up! Anyway, would like to share with you guys the dishes that we tried during our ramen fix!

I didn’t know that japanese cuisine offers Crispy Pata?!?! oh wait, it’s called wrong ramen for a reason right? Well, in wrong ramen you don’t have to follow the traditional japanese culture of eating ramen or their cuisine, everything in wrong ramen has a very wrong but right twist. It’s hard to explain unless you try it yourself! Tried this lettuce wrap with crispy pata! It’s so deadly but can’t help it because it’s so good!

I had the Tonkotsu-Light because I was in a moderate diet (lol! getting ready for summer…) this has lesser pork fat and the lighter version of their heaviest ramen  called tonkotsu-rich. I love how it tastes like authentic ramen that I tried when I was in tokyo few years ago! This bowl made me reminisce my tokyo trip. huhu I miss japan so much. The flavors from the spices matches how rich and al dente the noodle is. You guys should try this! It’s a must!

Another must-try from their menu is this red cow tomagoyaki! the fusion of corned beef and sweet egg is so perfect! I think I ate so much of this when I went there! It’s sweet and rich with that meaty flavor!

To end our meal we tried their super wrong dessert called the poop of the gods. hahaha! I know right, it sounds so wrong but the taste is so right! This one tastes like chocolate truffles with olive oil and rock salt. After eating in wrong ramen they will give you this complimentary shot that tasstes like yakult, they said it ‘ll cleanse your taste palette and will wash away the fishy flavor from your mouth! Too bad I didn’t get a picture of the “yakult” shot. Anyway, I enjoyed every bite and sip from the ramen soup. I highly recommend this place and another thing to look forward to is their interiors! Everything’s so hip and youthful! hahaha! Perfect for barkadas out there! Will definitely go back!

Summer Twigs

Hey guys! I’m currently in the airport right now writing this blog post and I i’ll be in manila when I publish this post (wala lang…mashare lang haha!). It’s such a bright, fun, sunny, hot and (add more summer-y noun here) summer for me. I stated my summer going on a trip with the family in bali Indonesia and I must say that It’s one of the best experiences I’ve done! I love the place, the food, the people and the lifestyle there! I just want to go out of the house wearing only my swimming shorts, tank top, slippers and cap, that is my current state right now but no….I’m in manila again and I can’t wear something like that on a normal basis or else people around me will judge me and mistaken me of someone who didn’t take a shower haha! I think I said this in one of my Instagram post or I think I told this to one of my friends that I want to live in bali and look like a local there and I don’t want to get white, I just want to stay dark and look like those local surfers in bali. haha! Forgive me for saying this here lol. Anyway, since I’m back in manila I think here’s an outfit post that can pass to beat the heat but still in a laid back balinese style comfort style! Hope you guys would like this one! :)

Aviators ( Urban outfit MNL), button-down(the ilustrados), tailored shorts(Straight forward), shoes(Zara), bag (H&M),watch(Calvin Klein), bracelets(Shoes strings attached)

Wore a gradient vintage aviators to match my bright sumerr-y outfit. Been wearing a lot of vintage aviators lately and I think that’s because I’m getting old. lol. i’m just kidding. I just love the oldschool style. let’s bring back the funk!

Told you guys i’ll be wearing more printed tops like this one from The Ilustrados. It really is perfect for summer. :)

bracelts from Shoes strings attached

Also another summer essential is getting a nice summer-colored tailored shorts like this one from Straight forward! I love the summer collection and it even matches their newly released Bamboo glasses! Check ‘em out!
