Raffles Design Institute

A few weeks ago i went to Raffles Design institute (RDI). First we heard a talk about trends this coming spring/summer 2012 by WGSN. Learned a lot from the talk and now i can apply it to my future outfit photos soon. LOL. after the talk RDI gave us a tour aorund their school and facilities and introduced us to the administration and faculty of RDI. So…here’s what Happened..

First Meg Aguirre the educational consultant of RDI gave us a background and history of RDI. Well RDI is the 39th campus of the Raffles Education Corporation. They branched out here in manila after having their other campuses overseas like in Mongolia,New Zealand,Ulaanbataar and Auckland. RDI is obviously a design school they offer fashion design, Fashion marketing and management,interior design and visual comunication. They also offer high Quality education with Highly renowned administration and faculty like Dr. Janet Emmanuel(UK) ,Nela San Jose(PH), Lee Miles(UK) and Buz Walker-Teach(USA). Their Library, since RDI is still new they only have few book and magazines but hey they have high quality and informative books inside their library! :)

Lee Miles, one of the faculty in RDI, he’s from UK. While touring RDI he visited us and kinda tour us after Meg showed us the other half of the facilities. lol. It was nice meeting Lee Miles! he’s really nice and accomodating! :)

They have a Mac room! how awesome is that! high class school with High class facilities! :>

After the tour we met Dr. Janet Emmanuel, one of the heads/ faculty/ admin of RDI manila. It was so nice meeting you and thank you for the opportunity of exploring RDI and sharing your time with us. :)

PFW: Oxygen Spring Summer 2012

Went to Oxygen’s fashion show last october 28 2011. As seen from my recent blog post about the private party last october 8 was the spring summer 2012 collection preview and now they released it just this friday at the SMX convention at the philippine fashion week. I must say it was really an amazing show, good styling, good production and awesome models! congartulations to sir Jeff Bascon and the oxygen team for a job well done! :D here are some photos from the fashion show. Went to Guess fashion show on october 24 2011 at the SM mall of asia SMX convention. The collection is really good and very American. Of course denims and plaid patterns will never be out in Guess, they showcased it really well. Here are some photos from the show. :)

The Amazing Smart Net Phone

I got my Smart net phone last week at the Smart Net phone launch, I used it right after the day of the event. I was super excited to use it but i had a hard time learning how to use it lol! sorry I’m not thet techie!. But all the learning was all worth it when i got the hang of it! :>

This phone is a very handy phone coz of it’s very thin and light design. It’s very professional but at the same time it has a touch of the electric youth! very compatible for Students like me and Working/professional people.

The best feature for me in the smart net phone is that you only need PHP1.00 balance to access the internet, now you can update your status on facebook, Tweet once in a while in twitter, browse google, youtube and other stuff on net just with a balance of PHP1.00! how awesome is that? lol.

They also have this “SNM” Smart Net Messenger! You just have to put the name of your friend at the Global directory and then there you have it! you’ll see your friend and you can add them up and chat with them! I also like this phone because you can download a lot of Applications like games! hihi. For me games are really an essential for me specially when i’m bored so this phone really is a very good phone for me! :>

This phone is really affordable! with just PHP9,900 you can access everything in a phone! it’s an all in one gadget! so what are you guys waitin for? Buy now! :>

I’ve been using this phone for days now and it really is very essential for me, i bring it everywhere i go so i can access my acounts on the net and it keeps me updated with everything.
